Life. Is so uncertain.

I smile as I hear Lyle Lovett speak those words in my ear playing from the iPod in "Here I am."
Facebook has changed my life and turned "my world" on it's ear. The world in which I claimed anonymity and hid under the shroud of motherhood to a newborn and then a demanding toddler. Over the past year, I have been "facebook found" by hometown friends and all those college friends that I had lost touch with along the way.  Suddenly, I wasn't so lonely anymore and come to find out *so* many of my friends are in the exact same boat but perhaps theirs is a little more crowded with the number of eyeballs looking back at them. Still the effect is the same and we can all breathe a collective sigh of relief and laugh at each other to lighten the load.  My next client is one such college friend and we used to sport the same canary yellow polyester sorority jersey all around campus.  Let's not even mention the travel buff panty hose, okay?

To say I adored our session and time together is a gross understatement. Motherhood by itself is chaotic, then throw in trying to capture some laid back photographic magic and there was hardly enough time to slip in a catch up word edgewise.  Still, I walked away so delighted on so many different levels.  It is a priceless feeling to feel known by a friend and it is such a deep honor to get to know her lovely kids.  Thank you for the lovely morning, dear friend.
