Fire Up, Buttercup!
Welcome to the wild world of family and children's portrait photography at Faux-Toes {pronounced foh-tohs} where Kristen B. Roedner, pictured left, helps families (spitting images of one another) recognize the beauty before them (without the mess), to give them glimpses into the glorious future and to spread absolute joy. Life is too short, afterall!

Here as in life, anything can happen and that's why the flying pig is the mascot. Faux-Toes is headquartered in Lakeway, Texas some 20 beautiful miles due west of Keep Austin Weird. Call (512) 466-5577 or email kristen@faux-toes.com for more information about getting your "pitcher" took. Thanks for visiting and we hope to hear from you soon!

Last month I had a chance to visit with my favorite non-profit organization, the Girl Scouts of Central Texas. In case you haven't heard, the Girl Scouts is the world's largest organization dedicated to empowering girls to be leaders. I love getting the chance to document these world-changers in the making at summer camp. Faux-Toes went to two camps so far: Zilker and  Robotics with another appearance to be made later this week at Concordia for Geek Week.  The girls' enthusiasm for their creations is a great thing of beauty and I am so honored to be able to capture a bit of that to share with the corporate offices. They use the Faux-Toes in their marketing materials, calendars and on the web.  It's just one more reason why I have the best job in the whole entire world.  Enjoy the Faux-Toes!
